Commemorative Coin of the Diamond Jubilee of

Prince Philippe of Araucania and Patagonia

To commemorate the 60th anniversary of the Reign of Philippe of Araucania and Patagonia a new coin is issued in the tradition of the previous coins editions of the Kingdom.

The front part of this coin shows the effigie of Prince Philippe

with the caption above:

"Philippe Rey de Araucania y Patagonia" and below "Jubileo de Diamante"

The reverse pattern is based on the traditional Araucanian coins with the value 500 Pesos

 

 

The coins were designed by K.-P. Pohland, Count of Coronel.

The mintage is 500 pieces of nickel plated brass, 30 pieces of silver and 20 silver Piefort

Silver coins are presented in a wooden box
